Drago wants to control the dragons.

Pitch wants to bring nightmares to the whole world.

Mother Gothel wants Rapunzel's magical hair. 

We are the only ones that can stop them. We work together, we always have. There's no way I'm letting them get to the ones I love. I can't let them hurt her, or my father. I know what their capable of doing, and I'm not going to let it happen. 

We'll defeat them, or die trying.
