Humans and Faunus all have a force apart of their soul they unlock known as Aura, which protects them like a shield but can discharge depending on the strength used in battle. They also use superpower-like abilities known as Semblance as well as powerful handmade weapons in all shapes and sizes. It's impossible for people to have the exact same Semblance, unless it runs in the family. The story revolves around a team of 4 huntresses in training. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiou Long. Alongside their friends, they train to fight and learn how to protect Remnant, and soon learn of its history and a millennia long conflict between Ozpin, Beacon's headmaster, and Salem, a humanoid Grimm queen residing in the dark.Complete

Jaune Arc was never the strongest, but he had the will and determination to pursue his goal no matter what he faced. Though that all changed when after saving the bully who made his life miserable, he decided to reveal that Jaune faked his way into beacon and soon he lost everything. He was soon left beaten and broken in the middle of a forest in mistral to be killed by the grimm, but that never happened. This may be the first fanfic that's about the monster from the reverse-horror game called Carrion! Let's see how it goes! All art, videos, music, etc. belong to their original owners. I DO NOT OWN ANYTHING, BUT MY OWN WRITING!!!!! Beware of spoilers. Play the game or watch the gameplay of Carrion to truly understand the character. Also, I won't be using anything the game trailers showed us. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After butchering and consuming everyone in that underground laboratory and escaping under the guise of a human, you went into hiding in society. Switching between appearances to stay hidden along with eating people that no one would miss, especially criminals. You'd sometimes eat some grimm too. What happened to you is that you were born as a bizarre pile of biomass created by nature's natural selection. When some humans made contact with you years later, you immediately infected and possessed one of them and began to evolve rapidly. It was then you developed a personality and can think like an intelligent species. All before being captured, experimented on, and then escaping not long after. Luckily for the world, you aren't super bloodthirsty or a complete psychopath. Your personality is that of someone humble and wanting peace. Just like how mother nature is and must be respected as so. Speaking of the world, you figure out that the world you reside in now is called Remnant. Compared to the laboratory below, the outside world is much worse with the Grimm and humans fighting each other. But it is also the world where you will actually find your place in these harsh lands of savage beasts and advanced weaponry. Along with those whom you will reside alongside with. And if anyone wishes to take them from you, they will know the color of death from within. You are the monster. You are the parasite. You are... Carrion This is your story.

Jaune Arc, the lovable goofball and sole male of the Arc clan has left his home on his quest to become a hero like his ancestors, but being a civilian and not having the training necessary, he has to rely on cheating his way into Beacon by the use of fake transcripts. And now that he has begun his journey, he hopes that he can improve and make his ancestors proud, while also surrounding himself with people he can trust and perhaps, a deeper connection and relationship. This is his journey to become a Legend and legacy of his ancestors. A/N: Now, I have given this much thought and I have read many Jaune fics, harem mostly and they weren't exactly original, as they forgo his canon personality and just give him powers from another franchise instead of making him increase his own skill. And so I decided to write this book and it will also include harem as well. I will try to keep their personalities as close to canon as I can. All Hail Monty Oum.

The year this story takes place in is 2022. In an AU where the Fall of Beacon never happened and the students were able to continue their time normally at Beacon and Summer wasn't dead, Team RWBY is kicked out of Beacon in their third year. After a bit of a ghost encounter and a small increase in ghost sightings across Vale, they decide to do what others won't. Fight the ghosts with tech from Atlas. They form the Ghostbusters and during their time as Ghostbusters, they start to uncover a plot from the once seen as only a myth Salem to destroy the world. So, when the queen of Grimm threatens to destroy the world and all other lines of defense won't do anything especially with Easter on the way, who ya gonna call?
