Venus, lived by her name. She learned from an early age to survive despite being so close to the sun; her father. It was his high expectations to the sport she loved that showed the slow burn of a monster of a man he was.
All it took was an injury for her whole world to rock back and forth. Now, moved into a new town with new people but still obvious scars from her past Venus meets Dakota who shows her, surviving doesn't have to mean killing yourself from within.
