"For my people, "I see you" comes from the origins of an old tale. Two clans warred against each other for years, fighting and killing and slaughtering one another for one tree. One day, a warrior saw an enemy female off in the distance, mistaking her for one of his clansmen. He called out, "I see you," and it stopped her from killing him. She found the greeting beautiful, and eventually, her clan adopted it. Not long after, the two clans ceased their fighting, uniting as one to live under the tree."

The girl nodded, taking a moment to listen to the tale. "Sounds familiar," she joked.

Lo'ak smiled, so softly any other person would have missed it, but she didn't. "It does," he replied.

Maren Anson, one of the youngest and brightest agents for the RDA, was sent to Pandora to finish what General Frances Ardmore couldn't: help eliminate the RDA's biggest threat, the Sully's and their Na'vi insurgency, and create a life for humans on Pandora. On a new moon with an Avatar body, one thing leads to another, and Maren ends up captured and in the hands of her worst enemies.
