Abroad

This isn't the type of "best seller" short story that I believe will make me successful. It started off as getting a few things off my chest in my notes. At least, that was the idea. Moving abroad to go to university was one of the best and worst experiences I've ever had in my life. This is not the type of story you read to sugarcoat your moving abroad dream. It combines the ups and downs, the good and bad in quite a bitter-sweet way. Some people may find it emotional, others may find it hilarious but the truth is that this is just the short story of a girl who moved abroad in desperate need of change. Did she survive through the challenges life threw at her? Absolutely. Coping with assignments? More like missing deadlines. Any friends? Only the best ones. What about finances? If working at a nightclub during the weekends counts. Any love interests? Those three years would have been boring without them and the drama that comes with occasional "U up?" messages. Looking back to the first day I had arrived in England to how far I've come now, three years later, I can conclude it was an adventure. An adventure, I intend on sharing with you, dear, reader.
