The Haunted National Park: A Tale from the Peter Wood Multiverse
When Peter and his friends sneak out late at night and wander off the beaten trail while visiting the Haunted National Park, they find themselves in the company of a deeply troubled soul whose magical powers threaten to spread her anguish and fury. Both of which manifest themselves in the form of an emerald green inferno. But as they race to help subdue the force of nature that they unwittingly awoke, Peter struggles with a surprisingly difficult question: should he race to alert the adults back at the campgrounds so that they can put an end to the rampage headed their way before she even gets there? Or perhaps he should run back off into the woods in search of the one person who could perhaps, save the woman from self-destruction. _________________________________________ This story is part of an anthology following different versions of Peter Wood and their friends during their misadventures in the Paranormal World. It's meant to be a preview into the world of the middle-grade series of novels that I've been working on for years now. Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents.
