The gods have forgotten their promise. More an more unclaimed demigods are rolling in by the day. It doesn't help that Olympus has turned a blind eye towards the heroes. Demigods have been disapearing everywhere. Percy has decided to use that to his advantage.
Percy has been abandoned by everyone he ever knew. That's enough to break even the strongest of souls
