While on patrol, USS Leyte Gulf (CG-55) suddenly disappears, taking all of her crew with her. An extensive search is conducted to look for any sign of the missing cruiser or its crew but to no avail.

Leyte wakes up in a distant universe, where ships from the second world war have been recreated as shipgirls to fight the Sirens, a group of otherworldly beings invading this world. Will she be able to make a difference in the fight for humanity? Or will she die in the process?

News of her death would send shockwaves across the WORLD! That would be FELT across the lands, oceans and mountains by all.
