Leyte wakes up in a distant universe, where ships from the second world war have been recreated as shipgirls to fight the Sirens, a group of otherworldly beings invading this world. Will she be able to make a difference in the fight for humanity? Or will she die in the process?

The fight for her to be turned into a ship museum failed. And majority of her steel was used to build USS Enterprise (CVN-65). But somehow her ship girl form suddenly resurfaces in a time when a ninth ship bearing her name has been successfully built and launched. She will also meet her daughter who was made from majority of her steel. Once again the Sirens threatened humanity in the present time.
