Alice Cross has always been there for her best friend Luke Hemmings, who always seems to be in love with every single girl; except her. Of course she doesn't mind, after all they're just best friends. Besides, she's never really thought of Luke in that way, and it appears he never has either.
One night, when Luke comes over to her place, drunk and heartbroken, she's determined to find her best friend a partner; one that won't break his heart anymore.
But she's in more than what she bargained for.
