Alice Cross has always been there for her best friend Luke Hemmings, who always seems to be in love with every single girl; except her. Of course she doesn't mind, after all they're just best friends. Besides, she's never really thought of Luke in that way, and it appears he never has either. One night, when Luke comes over to her place, drunk and heartbroken, she's determined to find her best friend a partner; one that won't break his heart anymore. But she's in more than what she bargained for. She never realized that SHE could be that someone, and she wouldn't believe the fact that she was ACTUALLY falling in love with her best friend. Confused and blinded by her love, she lets herself be led by her emotions, only resulting in disaster and conflict. She wonders, will Luke ever love her more than a best friend? Or is she doomed to stay in "The Friendzone" forever?

Bree Edwards and Michael Clifford are best friends, but more. They are friends, with benefits.. Nobody knows about them being more than best friends except for a few people. Their parents can't know. They've only ever been friends and nothing more, as far as their parents and Bree's siblings know. After being caught making out a few times, her older brother begins getting suspicious. He knows they aren't just friends. Or are they just friends? Are they more? They might be friends with benefits, but it seems like both of them want to be more. The problem is: neither knows the other wants that. Will they we find out how each other feels? How will they deal with their feelings? Will they fall in love (as everyone who knows about them thinks)?
