A while after the events of Majin Buu, the Son family is getting back to some semblance of normality. The family of four spent the majority of their time together while they made up for those lost years. However, both Chi-Chi and Goku had spent relatively little time together by comparison. When Goku chooses to take Chi-Chi somewhere that is special to him, it's not long until they both seem to understand each other that bit better again.
