Not too far into the future, David Lancaster, a working class bartender, slaves and serves to ensure he can take care of his two younger sisters all by himself. Every day, he watches as the popular reality show "Blood and War" is shown on the holo-projector in the center of the bar, depicting fighters engaging in nonlethal competitions whilst clad in extravagant costumes.
David dreams to be one such fighter.
One day, David encounters a strange man in his bar, who may be connected to the development of "Blood and War's" newest season. Following his conversation with this man is a story of redemption, glory, betrayal, romance, and loyalty. After all, all's fair in "Blood and War."
