Katelyn has just moved to a new house, a new school, and to a new home altogether. On her first day at her new school, she meets a strange girl named Carol. Before Katelyn knows it, her and Carol begin to drift closer and closer together as they spend their 7th year of middle school together.
But before Katelyn knows it, the secret of her past ends up slipping out, and everything goes awry. Everyone and everything around her soon begins to twist and shatter as her once free getaway from her past turns into a shocking and broken reality.
But all Katelyn can ask herself is this: Can she make it to the end, or will the darkness consume her whole?

This story is very touchy on a lot of subjects, and I just want to put a trigger warning on here, for this book does talk about suicide.
