Jane had always been popular; top of her class, the beauty of the grade, and always won any election she attended herself into. Everyone loved Jane, especially her best friend Zack. Things were ready and prepared for their senior year of high school together, especially since nothing has really changed in the town since anyone could remember, until a new dark boy joins the school. "He's bad for you Janie," Zack says. "Maybe he's just misunderstood."
