After Cybertron fell, Vespera thought she would never see Mirage again, so she travels to Earth with Optimus, Bee, and Arcee. However, due to Optimus's command she uses her holoform to look like a human and becomes neighbor to Noah Diaz, a hard-working guy who struggled to support his brother. She starts a new life under the guise of Mireya Palacios, a tech engineer.
Years go by, and she still keeps in touch with Optimus, but there's still no sign of Mirage. However, one night all of a sudden when she goes with Noah to try to dissuade him from stealing a car to get money, she's surprised to see none other than Mirage.
All of a sudden all at once, she is suddenly thrown back into her old world, once again fighting beside her friends to save her home.
