Aaron, the prince of a kingdom, walled off from the rest of the world, as to protect him and the kingdom from the bloodsucking creatures within the darkness.
Aaron doesn't exactly take any interest in becoming king when he's older, always reading, and some sneaking out. He's not really the adventurous type either, preferring something more calm.
On one night, Aaron meets a boy around his age. This boy happens to be one of the creatures wanted to be kept out of the kingdom, but unexpectedly, these two seem to start getting along despite how things are.
