(TVD fan fiction) Adelaide Mason was born over a thousand years ago; she had a life, a family until one fever destroyed her life forever. She is an original vampire just like Klaus and his siblings but she isn't their sister, oh no she is Klaus' lover. Adelaide's father wanted to save her, and Klaus' father wanted to save his children after having lost his youngest son to the werewolves and the Original witch agreed. After Adelaide died from the fever she came back... a vampire and watched the man she loved turn into a cold hearted monster.

Adelaide ran for over a thousand years, and Klaus took his revenge by killing her entire family. After she begs for forgiveness, Klaus acts like he owns her and she wants out again deciding to run with a werewolf until Klaus daggers her until the year 2011 when he needs the necklace that Rebekah had given her that had belonged to the Original witch.

Soon Adelaide's old feelings for Klaus come back and she finds herself roped back into his lies and possession until they go to a little town of Mystic Falls. Soon Adelaide learns the meaning of true love and friendship. Soon they learn by killing an original it kills all the vampires they sired and the vampires of Mystic Falls will fight to keep them alive...hopefully for good.
