When Thorin's Company including Bilbo and Gandalf accidentally tumble through a mysterious black hole just outside a troll cave, they land somewhere definitely not Middle-earth. Now, stranded in modern-day Wellington, they have no map, no magic portal, and zero clue how to get home.
With thirteen grumpy dwarves, one bewildered hobbit, and a wise-cracking wizard thrown into the mix of five sharp-tongued, fiercely independent sisters, chaos is guaranteed.
Will they find a way back to their world? Will their unexpected alliance survive the culture shock and each other? And how much will their lives change when ancient legend meets everyday New Zealand?
Adventure, humor, and a whole lot of sarcasm await. Come along for the ride - but don't say you weren't warned.
