this is a au for sonic prime s2 aftermath, after nine betrayed sonic, sonic had a demon version that kept trying to take over him, in this au sonic knew that breaking that crystal would destroy their world he broke it so that way his friends didn't have to die in such a gruesome way by his evil version, but what happens after nines betrayal...? does sonic let his evil version take him over...? read to find out.
