Ben İpar Gök, İpar yüksek dağların kar tutmayan yerlerinde yetişen bir çiçekti. İsmimi babam koymuştu, annemle karşılaştıkları ilk gün ona İpar hatun efsanesini anlatmıştı dediğine göre. 
'Bir kızım olursa ismini İpar koyacağım' dermiş hep. 

Her çocuğun hayalinde büyüyünce doktor olmak, öğretmen olmak olurdu. Ama benimki belliydi, ben Asker olmak istiyordum. Geçici bir heves değildi, 'ne olmak istiyorsun?' diye soranlara cevabım netti. Ben bir f16 pilotu olmak istiyordum, sonsuza kadar gökyüzünde olup vatanım için yeri gelince savaşmak, yeri gelince canımı vermek istiyordum.

Hayallerim sadece bir hayal olarak kalmamıştı, başarmıştım. Ben bir f16 pilotu olmuştum, ama bu yolda bazı duygularıma yenik düşmüştüm. Aşık olmuştum, aşık olmak kötü bişey değildi. Ama karşılıksız aşk olunca 'keşke aşık olmasaydım' diyordu insan...
