After almost being stabbed by her father. Evelyn had pretty much given up on life that was until it happened; the cancer, it had taken everyone close to her, mum, aunt Simi, everyone, it was the family's curse that's why when she coughed her first drop of blood she didn't bother going to the hospital. she didn't need the clarification and was too broke anyways there was no need she neither had something nor someone to live for.
she was going to live her best life no matter how short it was and nobody was going to stop her

I love the beginnings of stories. Whether it be a book or a movie, I enjoy the opening scenes the most. Because they hold all the promises of what is to come; unburdened by commitment or baggage. Beginnings are full of hope. This story is an exception. Because the beginning of it is a sad one. It's the ending, however, that makes this story worthwhile. with her sneaker clad feet dangling, flow stared at the walls her heart beating so fast she felt as if she was going to have a heart attack. then again she might as well have because with the news she knew she was bound to receive she could of keeled over and died. save her self the trouble of her father beating the shit out of her. bringing her hand up to her eyes as tears trickled down her cheeks she could not understand for the life of her why had she made such a mistake. she had never been one to make judgments on a whim. then again the fact that she was wasted didn't help one bit. easing up from the chair when the doctor came in flow looked up to him, ashamed . rather embarrassed. embarrassed that someone other than herself knew that she had placed herself in the position she was in. feeling her heart sink at his head nod that is all flow needed. grabbing her jacket from off of the chair she dashed out of the clinic almost trampling someone who was coming in. running she ran as fast as her feet could take her. crying she just could not stop as the wind blew against her cheeks chilling her tears. slamming her bedroom door once she got inside she locked the door shut imprisoning herself inside. collapsing on her bed she cried something terrible as she ached both emotionally and physically. staring up at the ceiling when the tears could come no more flow just laid still. staring - wondering - wishingComplete
I'll Love You Till the End
So I have this thing. Some people would call it a catastrophe; some would call it heart breaking. It also has the name of disease, and heart killer. I call it just cancer. Simple enough as it is, right? Doesn't help that I already had it once before, it just came back to fight harder as ever. I thought it was over. Isn't it though? Don't you give up at that point? Senior year and I'm ready to end my life as a person all together. I'm tired of fighting and might as well give up because there are no chances of me living all together. So as a smart choice I move so when I die no one will know me or care about me. Wouldn't that be the logical choice? I don't want pity. Never liked, never will. So don't tell anyone I have cancer. Ever. Doesn't help that a boy started getting involved with me and snuck under my skin before I even realized what he was doing. What changed me were those few, simple words all together. I'm running, my dress bunched up in my fists. But I'm not running for my life I'm running for his, and when I see him I stop. There is one bulky man on either side of him, they have their arms linking his, he's kneeling in front of someone with raven black hair. As we get closer, I see his pain in the way he's holding himself, his brown hair is clouding his face. Something catches in my throat as I see him bent forward, almost looking limp. The panic is slowly eating me up on the inside. 'Please lift your head, let me see your eyes' I pray inside my head. He can't be gone. It's almost like he hears my prayers as he looks up, his blue eyes as deep as the ocean depths, knocks the breath out of me as per usual. I close my eyes and thank God for keeping him alive. The right side of his jaw is all purple and red. A cut on the other side of his face, which is oozing with the red liquid. He suddenly looks past the black haired male to look at us, reassurance washing over his features. It's when he sees me that his eyes widen, and the panic grows by the second. He goes from a slump to picking himself upright. He's hurt. Badly. The black haired man spins around as we walk closer in their direction. All 6 of us stop as I catch a glimpse of the face.
