The world is reeling under the unexpected appearance of beings named Angels, which drove hordes of people into depression and ultimately death at their own hands. It's been a few years since then. Society is disarrayed; and the ones that still live only focus on how to keep surviving.

Vincent, the lone survivor from his family, has managed to get by somehow with other people. He's managed to survive. But all that is tossed away when he meets someone extraordinary, someone who could quite possibly answer for the mess they're in, and maybe even more.
