Fate of Fire (Ongoing)

I looked at him and shook him, hoping to elicit any response. "Sei", I called out, but he remained silent. I let it all out-the pain and emotions that had built up-spilling out like a raging volcano.

and two years have already passed,

Even though it's been so long, it still haunts me to this day, always reminding me how useless and much of a failure I was on that day, blaming myself for not being able to save them

and there he is,

A shiver coursed through me, and instinctively, I clutched his shirt-an action that soon proved to be a mistake, as his lips found mine. Slowly and gently, he stroked my cheek while kissing me passionately, treating me as if I were a precious jewel, fragile and cherished.
