Precept, a kobold druid cursed with a frozen heart must unlearn years of damaging teachings from her adopted father, with the help of Maude, a human woman she met and subsequently fell in love with on her previous job. The two of them now return triumphant from their task, lying low on a little farm in the woods. It is here now the seed of love that was planted in the earth all those months ago, can finally blossom into a beautiful flower under providence of the gentle spring sun. This story is an epilogue for a dnd game I took part in, and takes place in a personalized setting for our group, though most of it should be familiar to anyone familiar with the forgotten realms.
