"Back to the castle," she replied without stopping.
"Not by yourself you're not!"
"I'm sorry,"-she whipped around-"I didn't realize you were my father?"
"Your father, the king, would execute me for letting you travel by yourself."
"Oh, so this is about self-preservation?"
"Yes. Yours. There are monsters all over Hyrule now, Your Highness." Blue eyes pointedly looked her up and down. "And by the looks of it, you're not equipped to handle that."
She mirrored his scrutiny and scoffed. "What, and you are?" She gestured to the cairns beyond the trees. "Are you going to protect me as well as you protected them?"
Calamity is upon Hyrule.
The Goddess Hylia appointed but two children to prevent the end of the world. The powers they were promised don't come easily, and after years of outright failure, Princess Zelda can't help but wonder if Hylia chose wrong. It certainly doesn't help that the boy fate has tangled her with makes her seethe.
Devotion, heartbreak, inadequacy. Faith, perseverance, and courage.
This is a story of finding what lies within.
[This story is set in a fusion of Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom, with a couple tweaks and some familiar faces'n'places from older games joining along the way!]

In her free time, she likes to read and spend time with her best friends, Impa and Purah. The two become inseparable, but everything changes when Zelda hits puberty; she vanishes and doesn't show up at school. Link tries to contact and find her, but no luck. Five years later, Link is a 16-year-old man with severe depression and a Hero chosen by the Master Rifle. He is still in love with Zelda and thinks about her every second of his life. One day, Link saves a woman from the Yiga clan members, and that woman turns out to be Zelda. She tells him about where she has been for the past five years, and once Link finds out the truth, he dedicates his days to helping Zelda feel safe and happy again away from her selfish, rich father Rhoam and her forced fiance, Ganondorf. While Link and Zelda try to save themselves from the abuse, an evil prince from another country declares war on Hyrule in hopes of annexing the kingdom, and Link must go to war, leaving Zelda.
