In the Upside Down, Eddie Munson returns as a vampire who goes by Kas and has only one friend left, Max Mayfield. Kas Eddie serves as the right hand to Vecna and is ordered to bring to Vecna the one person who threatens his existence. Valentina has no idea she's that girl. Kas Eddie hunts his newfound prey, but what happens when instead of turning her over to Vecna, he realizes he's attracted to her? What happens when he starts to like her?

Turn back now if you're looking for something breezy and light. This is a dark romance full of toxic tendencies and twisted love, but should still be pretty funny. There is no white knight hero. So if you're looking for a soft, lovable Eddie, this books not for you.
