For as long as I can remember, I've disliked Kevin. We're locked in a constant battle with each other, neither wanting to be at the bottom of the class. When the Autumn Festival finally arrives in town, our class is assigned to help run it. I thought this was my chance to finally beat him, to leave him in the dust at the bottom. Turns out, he's my partner and this assignment will count for 60% of our grade.

This is a sequel to Life is a Cakewalk. You should definitely check Life is a Cakewalk out but it is not necessary to read Fight for the Spotlight. "'Emily!' Unfortunately for Emily not all of the drama is left on stage because her nemesis fights for the same role and plays dirty. Emily's enemy so happens to be the Queen Bee of Quarter High, Nancy Breeland. Not only does Nancy ruin Emily's life at school but thanks to Sam, Emily's older brother, Nancy ruins Emily's home life too. Nancy and Sam are always arguing and it is painfully clear to everyone that they don't belong together. Thankfully Emily doesn't have to deal with Nancy's drama alone because Emily has two best friends, Brenda and Annabelle. Brenda is a fantastic artist who is going out with the school quarterback and lead in the musical. They seem to be perfect together but after all it is a high school relationship so how long can it last? Annabelle is a positive and energetic girl who loves softball and may have found a boy who has caught her interest. After years of stupid middle/high school relationships has Annabelle found someone to be serious with? Through finding love, losing love and fighting for their dreams this group of people make an exciting high school story come to life.Complete

A Day To Give Anything But Thanks
All I wanted for thanksgiving was to have a nice time with my family. I didn't want to be kicked out of the house, because I told them I wasn't entirely sure I agreed with all of the Catholic traditions and beliefs. Which to my family that was just as bad as telling them I had murdered someone. I didn't want to spend my thanksgiving wandering my college campus trying to think of a decent place to eat. And I sure as hell didn't want to spend thanksgiving with the biggest fuckboy to ever exist. But here I am, kicked out of my family thanksgiving, wandering my college campus with Carson Hail, aka the biggest fuckboy to ever exist. At this rate I've probably said "fuck" more times than Carson has actually fucked someone, and that was saying a lot.
