This story details a psychiatrist battling drug addiction and alcoholism; placing his own life and family on the line. His inability to overcome the addictions causes his wife to accuse him of an affair. However, the only other thing in his mind is his trauma that brought him to abuse such substances.

Sometimes things don't come in big bangs and loud bursts. Sometimes things tiptoe by and you don't know they're happening until they've happened. She's started this story a hundred times in a hundred ways--it never seemed right. The truth is this: a woman, a girl, went to sleep and woke up somewhere else. And it broke her. Before, she was eighteen, she would not finish high school, and she had never been in love. After, she would be eighteen and a hundred years older, she still would not finish high school, and she would never not be in love again.

So this is my first time writing an actual story ok so give me some credit, also it's based off a person's real life experience they have me permission to write about it, and it's a story about a male nurse at a mental hospital who falls in love with a patient of theirs who isn't mental but was sent their because she tried to end her life cuz she was depressed and had old trauma. I have 11,755 words in my book.

There will be some detailed parts here and there, and these are dark stories.

The Mental Health Ward by High-high-hopes

A story about a 15 year old who has mental illness she didn't now she had until she was sectioned in the mental health ward in st James' hospital from when she had a suicide attempt. read to know what happened to her and what she has for the future. not all the story is based on a real life person but some parts are. enjoy reading x
