Kyle has liked Stan ever since they met but has been to afraid to tell him or anyone. Stan is still dating Wendy so Kyle feels like he is in the background and should just leave Stan alone thinking all he does is annoy him. Kyle eventually runs away from everything and lives life off the grid for awhile. One day Stan goes to Kyles house a week after they had a huge fight to find out from his crying mother he ran away and no one has seen him since so Stan wanting to make it up to Kyle and tell him that he likes him starts desperately searching all of Colorado and South Park until he finds him in the worst state ever.
