In a fantasy world there are humans can be born with animal features. There is a secret power amongst the different kinds of people, called a Spark.
A traveling rabbit eared family find a scaled dragon boy upon the coast of human territory. These humans don't have animal features and are hostile toward those who do. The fearing for the dragon boy's safety, Anny the rabbit eared girl, takes her back to her dad and nursed him back to health. But when some raiders come after them while they are almost at the crossing to get home, it isn't the dragon they are after.
It's later discovered its a strange power called a 'Spark' that they all possess that they where after. Each one is unique and Annie has to find hers if she's ever going to defeat the spark thief causing all the trouble and chaos within the spark's underground society.

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.Complete

Sparks live in a land called HollowLedgend and in Hollowledgend there are many towns and cities one named Nevershard, the one I use to live in. The queen lives in a castle in the center of HollowLedgend that is called Horn Castile. Every year there is a festival celebrating the six elements called Springfall Festival, everyone has to go there. In the towns and cities are schools but one school by the name of Phandome Academy sits a little ways near Horn Castile any one would be very lucky to get an invite from that school, and I just happen to be one of them." Flow was an ordinary Water Spark she had an ordinary family and life but all that changed when she got a invite to Phandome Academy, there she learns skills and makes friends, sooner a rumor starts going around about a quest, Flow goes on that quest dragging her friends along. Flow sooner realizes this is not a game and that she has to defeat a dragon in an icy dome with whispering songs and if she fails darkness will fall and almost every one will turn to dust.Complete

"Running to a pretty demon for help.... ehhh I'm not sure about that" he replied jokingly as he couldn't help but caress her soft cheeks. "I don't know if you are here to save me or destroy me, but I will trust you" "I'm not sure about that too Alex, but let's give it a try" He nodded then disappeared into thin air. "Trust?" She couldn't help but mumble to herself, as tears could be seen slowly sliding down her cheeks, And her wings gradually changing to its original color, Black. Then he woke up. I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. Tears springing to my eyes and brushing the tears away, slowly getting back to normal. Suddenly, I felt someone behind me. I could feel its strength and power surround me, turning around to see a dark figure behind me. Glowing blue eyes stared at me, seeing it slowly walk toward me. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. Soon, the kiss ended and I was empty. My eyes closing. "Don't worry, I will keep you safe..."Complete
