Frederick Heilsman discovered an alternate reality to our own.
While at his lab, where most of his coworkers would conduct their own research and try to find a cure for cancer, Dr. Heilsman spent the spare time he had researching time theory and inter-dimensional universes. Or so they say. An explosion and a ruptured gate later, several people die as monsters - living in chaos and disorder - brought havoc on anything they touched.
Several years later, F.A.R. (Federal Association of Resistance) was founded to keep the gate closed. Every once in a while something slips out. Every once in a while, someone gets lost to the gate, never to return. Tensions rise between those who want to close the gate for good and those who'd rather explore the otherworldly, no matter the consequences.

Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS by Minorou and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh. As it is a pet project of mine, it may not get updated regularly, updated at weird hours, or be subjected to changes and fixes without notice. Edited by @RadjaDawamindra.
