Of Demons & Angels

Belle was far from ordinary. Her head was a cacophony of voices, each with a distinct personality all its own. Doctors diagnosed it as multiple personality disorder, but labels were the least of Belle's concerns. You see, Belle lived in a world where pureblood demons ruled with an iron fist. To them, humans and half-breeds were a mere blight, a stain on existence, worthy only of becoming slaves or fodder for their unquenchable bloodlust.
Life was a constant game of hide and seek for Belle. Amid juggling the voices in her head and evading the superior beings that wished to exploit her, she managed to just survive, but that survival was a ticking time bomb. Despite the turmoil, a spark of hope flickered in her heart; she was in pursuit of her lost childhood friend, hopelessly taken from her by these merciless creatures.
Fate, however, seemed to delight in Belle's misfortune. One dreaded day, her luck ran out, and she was captured. Her captors were none other than the notorious eight Princes of Darkness, the cruelest of all demons. Her new purpose was to serve as their food source, their plaything. It was her worst nightmare come to life.
Belle, despite her situation, refused to give in. Each personality within her fought for their shared survival. As she navigated her internment, she discovered something odd. An unusual imbalance within herself. Belle, the innocent human, and Belle, the dormant chaos; both coexisted in a delicate dance within her soul.
