Emmeline Olivia Banks has lived in London her hole life. Being a British girl, she never wants to leave. But when her father dies, her mum decides to complete her life goal of becoming a photographer in New York and has decided to take Emmeline along for the ride.

Casey Rebecca Franklin, was born and raised on a farm in the middle of Texas, her parents want her to take the farm after they've gone. But she thinks otherwise. After getting a scholarship at the best high school in New York, she decided to wave goodbye to her farm life, her parents and her siblings, and full fill her wish.

After Emmeline goes missing, Casey is determined to find her. Then she realises Emmeline's life wasn't as perfect as she made it out to be, far from it in fact. Casey, with the help of some friends, set out on a deadly mission to save a girl.
