Jasmine Sharma is the illegitimate offspring of an English soldier and an Indian farmer's daughter . Born during the British Empire's migration into the newly conquered India - the jewel in the British Crown . Jasmine raised solely by her mother spent the first 13 years of her life being enchanted by the whimsical Indian countryside and pretending to be unaware of the financial struggle her mother , Kathani Sharma , was in . When Kathani finally decides to spend their last cluster of wealth on ship tickets to England in hope for a better life for her and her daughter but they would not be able to fathom the next chapters of their lives . Filled with new friends, ghosts from the past and a rock road ahead Kathani and Jasmine are swooped into the lives of foundlings and families of high society. 


This is my first story which is loosely based on the Hetty Feather TV Series .

~ Characters not based on any real life people but will use pictures of celebrities as a reference 

~Just to note only the name Kathani Sharma  is used there is no correlation to the Bridgerton character Kathani Sharma apart from picturing her to look like the actress.
