Jasmine Sharma is the illegitimate offspring of an English soldier and an Indian farmer's daughter . When Kathani finally decides to spend their last cluster of wealth on ship tickets to England in hope for a better life for her and her daughter but they would not be able to fathom the next chapters of their lives . Filled with new friends, ghosts from the past and a rock road ahead Kathani and Jasmine are swooped into the lives of foundlings and families of high society.
This is my first story which is loosely based on the Hetty Feather TV Series .
