Every ten years a child from each royal family gets chosen to become the protector. The protector is the head of the army and the best fighter in the country. They are responsible for the safety of their citizens. 

Myla Smith, a 17 year old girl that is educated to become a protector, is stubborn, fierce and an amazing fighter.  It seems like no one is a good match for her, but Kane Wilson is the only exception. He is her biggest rival, her biggest irritation, her rain in the sun. 

But what if their parents decide they need to take fighting lessons togheter? Will they overcome their differences?
