Lacey Victoire Cullen is the only Cullen that's human, but she's not a normal human. Lacey was literally born to become a vampire at age seventeen. She is so similar to her family, except for the vampire strength, hearing, sight, temperature, and impenetrable skin. She's grown up being best friends with the Volturi, which goes against their own rules, but they don't care anymore about that rule as much when it comes to her. Lacey's best friends are the brother-sister pair, Jane and Alec. But ever since she turned fifteen, she's had a crush on Alec, which he doesn't know about, only her siblings and Jane know about it. Thing is, Alec also feels the same way, but she's sixteen, and he doesn't want to wait another year to ask her out, but his feelings towards Lacey, violate another rule that the Volturi made.
