An unwanted ghost resurfaces from Lina's past. No longer the scrawny green-eyed bad boy that took ahold of her dreams at night. Now in his place stood a tall, confident man who's shoulders no longer sagged like they held the weight of the world. Now standing on her porch is the last person she ever thought she'd see. But he's not back to make amends he's here with a proposition. Jake Morrows owes everything to his adopted mother who has been his rock since she adopted him at age 16. Now, as a 24-year-old he's thriving until he hears that Lina is his mother's nurse. As his mother's health rapidly declines, she makes one final request for him to find a partner. Fueled by the determination to fulfill his mother's wish, he turns to the only girl he's ever truly loved and lost. Is this fate pulling its strings acting as a puppeteer? Or a mere coincidence. This proposition could mend what was broken ... or shatter things beyond repair. Only time will tell.
