Abheesht Singh Ranawat, the King of Mewar, found it in the most peculiar way possible. A promise was made years ago and he knew he had to honor his Dado-sa's words. At the ripe age of twenty-nine, the Rana-sa of Mewar had come to a pact with the fact that everything in his life was pre-determined. He was the protector and promoter of the historical and architectural heritage of Mewar, now modern-day Udaipur; he was the most successful conglomerate who had a chain of heritage and luxury hotels right under his thumb; and now he was to be the husband of a girl he had never even seen.
Right when he thought he had it all figured out, in came a whirlwind that swept him right off his feet. Anubhuti Choudhary. The moment he saw her for the very first time, it was sealed as the perfect photograph in his heart. Nothing before had been so magical, so enticing, so captivating. His heart yearned for yet another glimpse, but she was not meant to be his.
