It was an ordinary time, akumas, dealing with Hawk Moth.  However, something happens.  A mysterious portal opens up, tearing a hole between our world, and the unknown...

Marinette Dupain-Cheng, Ladybug, and her secret partner, Adrien Agreste, Cat Noir, meet alternate versions of themselves.  What can they do to help them however?  And how can they take the alternate events?  And can this lead to an accident identity?

Mister Bug and LadyNoir are in a new universe.  Instead, Adrien Agreste is entrusted with the Ladybug Miraculous while LadyNoir's given the Cat Miraculous.  However, once they enter a new universe, so does their arch-nemesis: Lady Butterfly, who is secretly known to be Lila Rossi.

Alya and Nino were given the Ladybug and Cat Miraculouses.  However, since the day they gave their Miraculouses to THEIR Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste for only a single day, their confidence has been a bit shaken.  Perhaps that's why they've been brought into this new world, a chance to boost their spirits.
