Two years have passed since the Battle of the Five Armies and Erebor has returned to its former light. 
To save Thorin's life Gandalf used a very ancient spell that not only saved him from death but also rejuvenated him. 
His age and appearance returned to when he was 90 years old. 
He is only a few years older than Fili. 
Kili married Tauriel and Fili courting the female dwarf named Figa
Everyone is alive

When I kissed him a tear slid down my cheek, when it hit the ground it turned into a white pearl. I kissed him because I loved him but when I kissed him I took away every memory of him and myself. I let go and put my necklace around his neck. It was a green stone with markings on it. We called it our hearts we would give it to the ones we love. I looked at him one last time before jumping back into the water leaving the one I love.
