Unprecedented crisis caused by geographical shifts struck abruptly on the shoulder of the United States during the Presidency of Gerald R. Ford, the Placeholder. The need to steer his country through difficult and violent times has never been greater. While inexperienced in the current situation, the Whole Top Brass struggles to maintain their power as the economy goes down the imminent rolling blackout.

Following the disappearance of overseas units and various nations, the United States is left alone with the cradle of freedom and liberty among the vast world filled with mystical magic and alien diplomatic stances. Unrestricted by any measure, the New World's brutality exposed the worst of Humanity. Defying the Idea that the American had been upheld for centuries.

After 2 major wars against two galactic superpowers, and the Garmillas refugee crisis of 2205, Japan, a part of the Earth Federation, now is seeing true peace. The rebuilding process is happening smoothly, with cooperation between citizens from all walks of life, between the Garmillian refugees and Terrans, and even the famous Shinkansen Maglev system is also rebuilt. However, one day, the people on the land of Japan woke up to a foreign sight. No known constellation, familiar stars, the moon, and neighboring landmass could be detected. Facing them is a planet of unknown, magic, and of possibility. Facing the crisis of transference, the people united once more, and again, the name Japan is re-recognized as a country. Her diplomatic corps is sent out on the rebuilt Japan Cosmo Navy ships, heading toward unknown lands, and contacting the nations of the new world. The politic of the new world however is a quagmire full of arrogance, hostility, and imperialism. "If diplomacy fails, then defend ourselves, we must" - proclaimed the newly appointed provisional PM of Japan, Heikuro Todo. The story of Nihonkoku Shoukan Beyond will follow Japan in the world of Space Battleship Yamato (2199/2202/2205) after their transference to the new world. This story is inspired by the original NHS and fanfics like Summoning America by DrDoritosMD. It will feature similar plots to the OG NHS and the fanfics by other creators I have the pleasure to read. With this as my first English fanfic novel, please don't be too harsh.
