Jack bullies Bentlee just for the attention. Bentlee retorts back for the fun.
They get partnered up for a 8th grade project, right before Bentlee has to leave for Pennsylvania in the Summer. Bentlee doesnt have anyone else so to him, it doesn't matter. *Untill* Jack and him become best friends. They slowly start to gain more and more feelings for each other thoughout the year.
But Jack doesn't know that he's leaving. So Bentlee has to break it to him at the endd of the year.
