After Tai had practically bribed Summer into letting him take the mission for her and have her look after the kids, only for Tai to die on said mission, Summer went into a depression so bad she stopped eating cookies all together, Tai's old hand-to-hand instructor, who was the closest thing he had to a father, noticed this immediately when he had paid her a visit to apologize for her loss and give her a shoulder to cry on, only to find her with bags under her eyes, her hair in a mess and not stuffing her face with cookies like a chipmunk faunus and instead nibbling at broccoli, it was then and there that he decided that enough was enough and he was going to fix this, so the first thing he did was smack Summer on the back of the head and tell her to get some damn sleep, from there he could figure it out with her...
