After the events of amphibia Marcy's parents still decided to move because they thought is was better for her to not be with Anne and sasha. Marcy thought it would be better for her to forget Anne and Sasha. After she left she never spoke to them again. she thought she had ruined ther lives forever.
And for 7 years Anne and Sasha spent there lives without her. And while Anne and Sasha had copped with marcy being gone they "happily" lived there lives while Marcy was struggling with schizophrenia because of Darcy. And her mental health was deteriorating
