In 2013 I published my final chapter of "The Boss," a story about Emerson Lane and his boss, Lafayette Jeff. With over two million reads, this story easily became my most popular work yet. From the lovably goofy Emerson to the stoic and handsome Lafayette, my readers were enthralled with this book. Even after taking time away from Wattpad, these characters of mine were not forgotten. They were so not forgotten that I just had to give them the story they deserve.

Welcome to The Boss & The Assistant - The Rewritten Edition of The Boss.

This is an updated version of "The Boss" that still tells the story of Emerson and Lafayette, but I have since put my Master's in Creative Writing degree to use and honed in my craft for this story. The iconic cast of characters are more fleshed out and have greater depth to them. The plot holes, the grammar, the inconsistencies of my teenage writing days have been cleaned up to bring to you a complete, whole story that I hope you will enjoy.

And the best part? The Boss & The Assistant  will bring to you chapters written by both Emerson and Lafayette (hence the title change). Get in the heads of both characters as they navigate depression, trauma, growth, and love.
