Prism: The Glass Worldwide Kingdom

In a world governed by the totalitarian Glass Worldwide Kingdom, the King's oppressive rule has left citizens burdened by relentless taxation and a micro-managed existence. Under the guise of unity, the regime enforces Prism Theology, extinguishing individuality and personal faith.

"You should have nothing and be happy," the King's decree echoes, justifying the extreme measures to maintain control. Citizens are watched, monitored, and forced to rent their own homes on government-owned land. Inheritances vanish, swallowed by the state, and resistance is crushed.

Amidst this bleak landscape, the resistors emerge. United by their faith and the rejection of Prism Theology, they gather in secret tunnels beneath the city, hacking the oppressive laws and building an alliance of unlikely allies. As tension escalates between the King's enforcers and the resistors, a spark of rebellion ignites, culminating in a battle for the soul of the kingdom.

The resistors' journey is one of discovery, defiance, and sacrifice. With each chapter, their fight against the King's tyranny unveils a deeper layer of oppression and a yearning for true freedom. As the struggle reaches its peak, the Glass Worldwide Kingdom stands on the precipice of change, and the resistors must decide whether they will be the architects of a new era or succumb to the shadows of the past.

In the aftermath of a chilling execution, secrets that were buried for years are beginning to surface, threatening to unravel everything. Ava Sinclair, once a skilled psychiatrist who navigated the minds of the most dangerous criminals, is now haunted by a past she can no longer ignore. The man she thought she had forgotten-Marcus Ravel-was executed for his gruesome crimes, but his shadow still looms over her. As Ava tries to reclaim her life, fragmented memories begin to resurface. Memories of her involvement with Marcus, of a dangerous game that blurred the lines between the professional and personal, between sanity and madness. The past she thought was locked away is now spilling into the present, unraveling her sense of self. With the arrival of a cryptic message and a series of unsettling events, Ava is forced to confront the truth she's been running from. As she digs deeper into Marcus's dark world, she realizes that the game is far from over, and she's still playing it-unwittingly-and at a much higher stake. But she's not alone. Eric Grant, the detective who once guided her through the dark maze of Marcus's mind, now holds secrets of his own. The truth about his involvement with Marcus is more dangerous than Ava could have ever imagined, and his loyalties are being questioned as the line between friend and foe becomes increasingly blurred. In this twisted, psychological thriller, Ava must face the truth about her own darkness, and what it means to be caught in a game where silence is as deadly as the truth. *The Silent Game* is the second book in a gripping new series that will leave readers questioning their own perceptions of right and wrong, and just how far they would go to survive the ultimate game of secrets.

Book Two: They encourage, not the realists and the brave, but the gullible and the fragile, those too weak to fight back. They massacre lower and middle-class citizens once every month to control the growing population through a method called Cleansing. They rid of all music except modern pop to eliminate diversity, keeping only one artist from each state in the music industry. They stop anyone from going in or out of the country and kick out all those not born within the now-armed borders. And that's just the beginning of what they call "The Great Reformation," the grand change of the United States government and all of its operations. All because the United Kingdom has turned against the nation and declared war, or so President Nathaniel Carter says. Carter, as the dictator, begins to tell citizens certain things, things that Ryan Tedder and his bandmates, Zach, Eddie, Brent, and Drew, don't actually buy. After all, physicist Niels Bohr once said, "The best weapon of a dictatorship is secrecy." Along with this chaos, Ryan is trying to deal with the stress of Ramona becoming distant due to her past reappearing, and the new rules and regulations making his career walk on a tightrope. The national anthem may say otherwise, but the United States is no longer the land of the free and the home of the brave. Not with the new government. Ryan and the other guys are determined to dig through the lies and find the real reason why. © 2016 by Verona Rohellec. Second installment of the Blooming Passion trilogy. Complete. Mature language. Until his strictly ruled world is turned upside down when two FBI agents burst into his office to inform him his twin brother, and single remaining family member Seth, has committed mass murder. If that isn't enough to shock the stalwart Marine to his steely core, Seth's subsequent suicide nearly brings him to his knees. While still reeling from the news, Sam reaches out to Karma Taylor, a friend of Seth's, who has possession of his brother's journals. When he learns of Karma's "crusade," and her belief of the government's involvement with extraterrestrials, he wants nothing to do with the vociferous Ufologist. However, when bodies begin to pile up and Sam is wounded and on the run, he comes face to face with the truth both Seth and Karma have been spouting for years. Sam comes to realize the only person he can trust is the one he believes is as insane as his late brother, and must seek her out to help him stop what had begun over half a century before any of them were ever born.
