Well, lets say that all changed one faithful day when he stumbled upon a conversation between Aizawa and the class.

He overheard some awful things they said about him and he was heartbroken. They were the first people he actually considered friends and yet, they turn on him like this. He couldn't handle being betrayed by anyone anymore, so, later that night, he jumped off the building of the school.

The next day he turned up missing, Mina found his shoes floating in the air outside when she was walking towards the dormitory.

To this day nobody knows where he is today, except Inko Midoriya.
