He looked good, standing in my living room with his plain white T-shirt that hugged his arms just right. The dim golden light from the lamp in the corner of the room illuminating his face. I needed to come right out and say it. "I can't be the only one who notices some sort of tension between you and I." I finally said. After months of trying to put the pieces together and failing so many times, I was driven to insanity. "I mean, I'm going crazy trying to figure you out because you send these extremely mixed signals. I just need you to be honest with me, Pedro. Am I the only one who feels it?"
He hesitated. He didn't say a word for what felt like forever. "I would be lying if I said you were."
