Lily had always lived in her sisters' shadows. One of them being a aspiring artists who was already so famous in the art world, and the other being an actress who's already been in so many shows and is about to leave on tour for another one.
Of course her parents still loved her dearly, but she felt that they never gave her as much attention that they gave to Anne and Lucy, her two older sisters.
When Lily finally meets someone that makes her feel like she's the most important person in the world, she jumps into it too quickly, and her world comes spiraling down in pieces, and no one is there to catch them.
She is sure to never let this happen again, and she chooses to stay safe in the shadows, where she will never be harmed again.
