* my Astarion is a bit of an amalgamation of the early access and new, comparatively more rigid and calculating Astarion gifted to us in full release. He is a bit more charismatic and silly, expressing himself with more arm movements in the earlier versions as well as a bit more vulnerable and honest earlier on in my opinion*

*I have experience with DnD 5e, and bulders gate, but will be taking liberties as far as the lore behind vampire spawn/vampires/ascended vamp. Nothing excruciatingly major, just enough so Astarion CAN feel emotions in line with a romance dynamic.

Sirena has no memory of her past as she awakens on the nautiloid. She doesn't just feel the tadpole behind her eye, working its way into her brain. She also feels something deeper...darker. The worm is being overshadowed by the constant desire- no NEED to kill...kill...KILL. Her only mission is to get revenge on those who have left her with only a name and this need to destroy. Everything else, her experiences, battles, and relationships will slowly reveal her past; whether it is useful or disturbing is another problem. However, her past is known to a select few. She will go on to find out she does indeed have a reason for the twitch she feels when a knife is in her hand. A reason why her body sings along with every strike of a blade against anything that moves. She is the daughter of Bhaal himself, the lord of murder. He sired not only her sweet name but the incessant desire for murder. She was trained in the arts of delightful music aswell as blades. Why? Because Bhaal's chosen must be so despicable that they can use honeyed words to convince their prey to commit their own murder, command a room of people to drop with the most angelic of Melodies. Her power resides in words because it was his desire, but her skills were moulded into something far more deadly. How she became lost with this urge is the main question pounding against her skull, but whoever did this didn't think of one thing. Sirena may have forgotten...but she will never forgive. Will she decide to resist this urge and get her revenge? Especially when it comes to those she will grow to love? Well...let's hope the dice roll in her favour. (This is a series I've created in honour of my durge run that I just had to write about. All inspired by conversations, events or areas through the course of the game. The Goddess however does know a way... With the stakes raised Arista can no longer keep her secret from her lover. Will he embrace mortality for them, for himself knowing what it might cost the Paladin at his side? Or will he watch his true love age and die at his side, sparing her from the pain the path in front of them promises?

The Heroes of Baldur's Gate... and Me by pixie-girl696

I watch Tav as she strides through camp, her fiery red hair flowing around her shoulders, sunlight glistening off her golden breastplate. She is strong, determined, and brave. The whole camp love her, the men tripping over themselves to be close to her, ready to follow her into battle at a moments notice. She is beautiful, the epitome of grace.... What a bitch I shake my head, ashamed at my petty thoughts. Jealousy has always been a weakness of mine. But I cannot help but compare myself to Tav, everything I am not. Surely there was a mistake? Why would the Dream Visitor help me? A 36 year old mother, her adventuring days behind her? I'm just a regular person, a nobody? What benefit could I possibly bring to this group of incredible heroes? There has definitely been a big mistake.

As the Ash Settles, is my take on what happens to the group of companions after saving Baldur's Gate. As the ash settles and the drinks are pouring a familiar sensation washes over our Tav, the very same one that compelled her to attack poor Alfira in her slumber, perhaps defeating her sister was not just denying her father but in fact taking back her rightful spot as leader of the Bhaalspawn, perhaps Withers was indeed wrong. Questions left unanswered while still having to find a special artifact for Astarion to walk and in the sun and still beating heart to fear Karlach. Rated M for Mature. Will include adult behaviors, some violence and well just stuff from the game itself. Don't worry though not a finger will be laid on the goodest boy Scratch. Astarion ascended just like he wanted. Tav helped just like he asked. People change just like they were warned. Fair warning: Ascended Astarion is the villain, Tav frequently disassociates and justifies Astarion's behavior to themselves and the other companions. Domestic violence is implied but not depicted out-right. Verbal abuse is kept to a minimum. Two major characters will die eventually. An alternative epilogue at Withers' party. Still in progress but I feel inspired and it's a short one. I will probably update frequently I haven't written fanfiction in 11 years.
