He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

Her last option: Asking a gift of the Goddess she has worshipped ever since her family fled Menzoberranzan. But what she is asking proves to be too much for a lesser deity such as Eilistraee. The Goddess however does know a way... With the stakes raised Arista can no longer keep her secret from her lover. Will he embrace mortality for them, for himself knowing what it might cost the Paladin at his side? Or will he watch his true love age and die at his side, sparing her from the pain the path in front of them promises?
